Throughout the year, you run workshops and group programs. I created Automate Your Launch because quite honestly, I kept dropping balls in my early workshops and I was so frustrated at myself. I thought that teaching a 90 minute workshop would be a simple endeavour but I couldn’t have been more wrong!
After embarrassing email number 7 from a student asking me about details they should have had easy access to, I realised I couldn’t keep doing it the way I had been doing it - as a Notion super-user, couldn’t I do better?
So I made myself a brand-new, shiny dashboard with all the databases, checklists and templates I needed to be able to repeat the same steps for every group program and workshop I run. I went from flailing around, stressed out and wasting a lot of time to feeling confident, calm and orderly.
You might have come across other resources and teachers who focus on Notion as a productivity tool, a way to make lots of money by working less through heavily automated and complex set ups. I don’t do it that way.
I believe that we get better systems when we physically build them ourselves (no templates), understand how they work and use a tool like Notion to be in conversation with how our brains make sense of process. This isn’t efficient but it’s durable and sustainable. And that’s what I want for you as a deep thinker and creative doer.
The real risk isn’t in the price of this workshop and whether it matches the value (in fact, I usually hear that I over-deliver) - the bigger risk is going through another launch cycle feeling frazzled and unsteady, knowing you could have made things easier on yourself.
This is the system I created for myself after running half a dozen workshops without it and another half dozen with it. In fact, in this last launch cycle, I was able to take a whole day off because I wasn’t frantically doing things either last minute or after the fact.
Even if you just come to the live workshop to follow along and ask questions - you’ll still have a much deeper understanding of how to create something like this in Notion.
Even if you just watch the replay and build at your own pace, you’ll still get to hear all the questions that other people asked and I bet some of those answers are helpful.

I tend to move through the build fairly quickly. This can be overwhelming for some Notion users, especially those who are newer or less familiar with all of the features. You don’t actually have to keep up though - your work is in paying attention, understanding what I’m building and why. That’s why I encourage lots of questions and discussion because I don’t want to gate keep the knowledge. Once the live workshop is over, you can use the worksheet and the recording to go back and build at your own pace.
You don’t have to come to the live call. You’ll have lifetime access to the recording and you can always ask me questions in the comments section on the class portal.
It absolutely is! In fact, this workshop was designed with you in mind. For many of us, we learn by doing and so I live-build this system from scratch and provide commentary along the way so you can see all of the different functions in Notion within the context of the topic. No more theory or abstract learning - you’ll learn the basics and the more advanced functions through contextual learning.
Honestly, probably not. I go through the build at a good clip so if you’re a seasoned Notion user, this will be a fun challenge for you. There’s also a good chance I’ll demonstrate something you didn’t know Notion can do!
I totally hear you on this. Even as a Notion super-user, I still seek out new things to learn and I often come across teachers who make things too complex. My solution is to use Notion’s terms but translate everything into plain language that anyone can understand. I also explain things in multiple ways, I repeat parts of the demonstration until everyone is clear on what I did. Students always ask me to say something again or to show them what I did again and I always oblige - I promise to do everything I can to make your learning experience make sense.
You’re a Notion person. You’re on a spectrum from curious to committed but you’re still learning, trying to figure out how to make all of these systems in Notion that will culminate in a supportive digital world for your work, life and creative outputs.
